From Mendelssohn’s lyrical warmth to Beethoven’s exhilarating “Razumovsky” No.3, Flinders Quartet’s concert program is anchored by two works rooted in the natural world. The concert features the world premiere of Chris Sainsbury’s new commission for the Listen to the Land project, and Jessie Leov’s outside in, a quietly affecting work written for hospital patients missing the natural world, returning after its premiere in FQ’s 2025 Emerge program.
